Something new is taking shape at Echt Plum in Jena, Germany. We’re developing a website redesign that brings our two creative worlds together while giving each one room to shine.
The new interactive homepage is still in development. It has not launched, and what we’re sharing here is a preview of the direction we’re building toward, not a description of features already live.
Echt UP! — Ideas in three dimensions
Echt UP! is our world of 3D-printed designs: a place for creative ideas that take physical shape. In the planned homepage experience, selecting 3D Printing will bring this division into focus and let visitors explore its products without leaving the homepage.
We want the distinction to feel clear from the first visit, while keeping both sides of Echt Plum connected.
Plum! — Creativity in print
Plum! is our digital-print world, including apparel and accessories. The redesign will give these categories their own space, making it easier to choose the creative direction that interests you.
Books are planned for the future. They’re part of the vision, not an announcement of products available now. As we develop this area, we’ll keep that difference clear.
Two characters, one connection
At the heart of the planned design is artwork showing the Echt robot and Plum woman touching fingers. That shared gesture captures the idea behind the redesign: two distinct creative worlds meeting in one place.
We’re building an interaction where selecting a division highlights its character and reveals the relevant product content, while the other character stays visible. It’s a preview of what we’re working on, and the details may evolve as development continues.
